What happens once you have booked a photoshoot
At the point of booking your session we will work together to come up with a brief about what you would like to get out of the shoot. We will then meet at the agreed location. When arriving at the photoshoot I will spend some time bonding with your pet gaining their trust, and have some fun getting to know their character. I will also use this time to help your pet adjust and become comfortable with the lighting systems which I will have with me and may use during the session. After this and only when you and your pet feel comfortable we will then assess which photo’s to take first based on how your pet is feeling on the day. I have different lenses we can use for the shoot, depending on how comfortable your pet is with me being close to them. If we are photographing your dog, they do not need to be good at recall or well trained. I can edit leads and collars out of the images if needed.

If we are on location, we will take a walk around the location, stopping at different points to capture those all important magical moments. Length of the walk is completely up to you and your pet. During the session I will take hundreds of images, some of which will be staged and some natural depending on your brief. The session can last as long as it takes to get the perfect images, as sometimes it can take a little while for animals to relax into themselves and show me their true character which is what you know and love about them.
The main aim of the shoot is to ensure you and your pet have a great time and we want to capture that within the images.
The images will then be edited by myself and a reveal and design appointment will be arranged. This will be a virtual or face to face appointment. At this point I will help you select the perfect set of images, and we can work together to create that WOW artwork you are looking for.
Each photoshoot package is tailored to your pets, please see the Packages page for all options I offer.
Once we have completed your session and you have selected the images you would like to buy, there are many different options you can take to have these displayed. From printed and framed, to digital USB images, the options really are endless. We will work together to find the perfect way to display your images in your home ensuring your babies character is captured forever.
